Description

For your consideration is a March 1968 6105-8000 diver — otherwise known as the “Slim Willard” — the symmetric case variant after the 62Mas. This is a very special version of this watch as it’s a tan “Daini” lume variant that is not often seen. This is also a pre-transition model with a 7-digit serial number. Overall, I do not think another watch like this will be available for a very long time to come.  The crystal is a Klein Type III and the original crystal will come with the watch. The watch comes with a new waffle band from Uncle Straps, but it also retains its original Seiko branded band. I will also include the replaced upper mainspring bushing and the crown seal that was replaced.

Condition

I would rate the cosmetic condition as very good/excellent. The case has the original surface brushing on the upper surface and has not been polished; retaining all of its case lines with minor wear commensurate with the age. The dial and hands are in very good condition and retain their original luminous material which is excellent with zero water damage.

Service and Warranty

This watch has received a full service. That process includes a full cleaning and evaluation of all movement components and proper lubrication. The crown was mechanically rebuilt to replace the o-ring gasket.  Lubricants used were Moebius synthetic varieties appropriate for this watch movement type. The movement has two custom produced, American made jewels in the ports of the barrel arbor. The amplitude of the balance wheel is 225-230 range and the rate is (+/-) 2 sec/day. The case back and crown all have new, and factory correct seals. This watch comes with a 100% money back promise of originality and a 1-year limited warranty on the movement from the time of sale. Shipping is to CONUS through USPS 2-day.
