The Watch
For your consideration is a 1972 Seiko 6139-6017 Blue “Bruce Lee” symmetrical case automatic chronograph. These are very desirable and excellent wearing watches that have a storied history in the race to create the first automatic winding chronograph.
Condition
The case remains unpolished and I would rate the condition as very good. The dial and all hands are original Seiko. I believe this watch is a transitional piece as it has a “2-part” chronograph sweep hand. The chronograph hands reset exactly to their vertical positions. Bracelet is a lovely original Seiko “Rail Road” and is original to the watch. The crystal is a new Klein Hardlex replacement. All mechanical components original to this watch.
