Description
For your consideration is a June 1972 6139-8002 Automatic Chronograph. All components are original to the watch (dial, hands, case, crown, pushers, bracelet and all mechanical components).
Condition
The watch is completely original unto itself and is in excellent mechanical condition. The case has not been polished and shows wear commensurate with the age of the watch. The dial is original to the watch and has a date stamp that is two months prior to the case date (24 — see the images). The hands reset exactly to their vertical positions. The bracelet is the factory “Razor Blade” style and is in very good condition with all links. The crystal is a new Klein Hardlex replacement.

Service
I serviced this watch on 10/02/2022. That process includes a full cleaning and evaluation of all movement components and proper lubrication and the installation of two new jewels in the arbor ports (a $180 upgrade). Lubricants are Moebius synthetic varieties appropriate for this watch movement type. The amplitude numbers are 230-240 range and the rate is +/- 2 sec/day. The case back, pushers and crown all have new, and factory correct seals.
