Description
For your consideration is an October 1968 Citizen 2812-Y Seven Star in the extremely rare Silver Sunburst Dial. This is a highly desirable early Citizen Diver and it comes on an Uncle Straps 20mm Tropic.
This is an opportunity that should not be missed. It is unlikely that you will find another Seven Star in this condition with a full service.
Condition
The very unique “dual crown / inner bezel” super-compressor style case case has all of the original surface finishing and has not been polished; retaining all of its original case lines with very minor aging. Both crowns are the signed “C” Citizen. The dial and hands are in like-new condition and retain their original luminous material. This watch should no longer be considered water resistant at all as the crowns are no longer able to keep out moisture of any kind.
Service and Warranty
This watch has received a full service which includes a full cleaning and evaluation of all movement components and proper lubrication. Lubricants used were Moebius synthetic varieties appropriate for this watch movement type. The case back and crown all have new, and factory correct seals. The crown was mechanically rebuilt to replace the gasket. This watch comes with 1-year limited warranty on the movement from the time of sale.
